Internal exploration within the team - we developed a range of accessories for the iPad before it came out (this is just one of roughly a dozen). Designing for a product that has not yet been released offers interesting challenges.
2015 : Leveraging the heritage of Answer stems, we optimized strength to weight, pushed an "oversquare" proportion. Answer now has a very light stem with an ahead-of-the-market appearance.
2011 : We delved deeply into what a sweeper is for drivers and also for pedestrians, who currently view it as a noisy, messy contraption. Developed with the [zero] team.
2001 : Shoot for the moon. This is the product that single-handedly put SRAM up against Shimano.
With a very aggressive timeline and a borrowed a silhouette from well loved old product (MAG line) we pushed this into the future.
An ergonomic thrust for the industry, coupled with brilliant engineering. SRAM Force single handedly broke SRAM into the fiercely competitive and IP constrained road market. Rode to 1st place in the Tour de France.
